Wicked takes us back to a time before Dorothy, Toto and the rest of the gang to show us the real story behind the Wicked Witch of the West, named Elphaba, and her counterpart, the Good Witch, Glinda. Wicked takes us back to the school time days of these two witches to find that Elphaba was once an impassioned, compassionate Good Witch, in sharp contrast to her school roommate Glinda, who later became the 'Good Witch' in the traditional story.
